My father is a taxi driver in Singapore. For 20 over years, he primarily drives night shifts as a relief driver. And despite living halfway across the island, his hirer happily makes the daily journey for handovers. As his hirer puts it, my father's consistent reliability and unwavering care for the vehicle are invaluable. He's a great family man, and a man I deeply look up to. One of my proudest works is a three-part documentary series following the lives of four visually impaired students in Singapore — which was honoured as a Finalist at the New York Festivals 2024.
